Kelley School of Business at Indiana University

Earning an MBA provides a rare opportunity to focus on you: your strengths, your goals, and your future. Make the most of every moment—inside and outside the classroom—by choosing to pursue your MBA at the Kelley School of Business.

The Kelley Full-Time MBA Program was built with the student in mind, and our small class size, distinctive curriculum, and location offer a depth of focus and opportunities that are not possible in most other programs. This individualized level of preparation is recognized by top Fortune 500 companies who return to Kelley year after year to hire talented Kelley MBA students.

At Kelley, you will:

  • Find a meaningful career by working one-on-one with a certified coach from Graduate Career Services, ranked #6 in the world by Financial Times

You’ll partner with a coach who truly gets to know you, helps you discover your interests and talents, and assists you in developing a plan targeting specific functions and industries. We’ll help you tell your story in a way that gets responses from recruiters.

  • Become a confident leader with personalized leadership development

You’ll start with Me, Inc., a unique orientation program designed to help you understand yourself and your career goals and build your personal brand. Once classes begin, you’ll learn leadership by managing real-world projects, participating in student-led global business initiatives, and studying and analyzing leadership styles in your classes

  • Choose a curriculum to prepare you for your desired career

Our majors and minors build on the business fundamentals and global perspectives you develop in the Kelley Integrated Core to give you knowledge and skills directly applicable to your chosen field. Five of our majors (specializations) are STEM-designated by the US government, reflecting the curriculum’s focus on analytics, technology, and data-driven decision making.

  • Gain real-world experience in your industry through innovative Academies and learn from inspiring professors who’ve worked in your field

You can think of Academies as a bridge between what you’re learning in your courses and how you’ll apply the knowledge during your internship and career. Academies provide profound professional development and networking opportunities, and enable you to discover where your strengths and interests fit in business.

Choose one required first-year Academy from six options—Business Marketing, Capital Markets, Consulting, Consumer Marketing, Strategic Finance, and Supply Chain and Digital Enterprise—and develop your skills further with optional second-year Academies—Entrepreneurial Innovation or Leadership—or the Academy PLUS Life Sciences.

  • Consult with small companies in emerging economies to gain international business experience and create positive social change

The Global Business and Social Enterprise (GLOBASE) program sits at the challenging, exciting intersection between business and global development in Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. You’ll work with your client remotely from the beginning of the spring semester to understand their goals, history, and challenges. Then your team will travel to your client’s home country for a weeklong, on-the-ground engagement.

  • Join a community of students and alumni who support you, now and throughout your career

Your classmates will become your family—the people you’ll turn to throughout your career for support, connections, and guidance. Student clubs connect you with like-minded people, build your network, and provide opportunities for you to lead. Whatever your interests, you’ll find a close-knit community to call your own.

When you graduate, you’ll become part of the world’s largest business school network. It’s an elite group of more than 120,000 Kelley graduates. Kelley alumni are leaders at top companies and start-ups all over the world.

Not only is our program among the top in the world, so is our location—Bloomington, Indiana—a quintessential college town with a vibrant, progressive culture. You’ll be surrounded by natural beauty, enjoy a low cost of living, and live in a community nationally noted as a best place for food, theater, music, and outdoor adventure.
